Wanda M. (Goles) Fedor

March 20, 1926 - April 18, 2022

YORKVILLE - Wanda M. (Goles) Fedor, 96, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, at Lutheran Care. Born in Utica on March 19, 1926, Wanda is the daughter of Blazej and Wiktoria (Mandro) Goles. On April 25, 1948, Wanda married the love of her life, Stephen S. Fedor, in St. Mary’s Church, New York Mills. They shared a blessed, loving union of 66 years prior to his passing on February 8, 2015. Wanda is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Eileen and Donald Klosek, Yorkville and Christine Fedor, Whitesboro; grandchildren, Denise (Darrell) Connors, Gregory Klosek, Brian Poccia, and David Poccia, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen Fedor; sister, Mary Fedor and brother, Walter Goles. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus & Casimir Cemetery, Whitesboro. Remembrances in Wanda’s name may be made to the Yorkville Fire Department or Church of the Sacred Heart & St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa. Wanda’s family extends their gratitude to Lutheran Care, Bryant Unit for the care provided to Wanda during her stay. A very special thank you to the weekend warriors, Ok Floreck and Kyle Bodner whose compassionate care and many kindnesses were so very comforting to Wanda and her family. A note of appreciation to Melissa White who always greeted the family upon their arrival with a warm, welcoming smile and caring words. It meant more than can be said.
