Melissa L. Curtis-Siega

April 5, 1968 - January 20, 2022

Melissa L. Curtis-Siega, 53, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in the comfort of her home. Born on April 5, 1968, in Utica, Melissa was the daughter of Ronald S. and Barbara A. (Klimek) Curtis. She was a graduate of Edmeston Central School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing at Siena College. Later, she followed her true passion by completing her nursing degree at MVCC. Melissa worked as a hospital administrator at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare. She is survived by her father, Ronald; her beloved children, Ethan and Myles Siega, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Melissa was predeceased by her mother, Barbara, and her brother, Ronald “Swifty” Curtis. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. at Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 470 French Rd., Utica. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Remembrances in Melissa’s name may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. (www.hospicecareinc.org/donate).
