Joseph J. Waskiewicz

CLINTON – Joseph J. Waskiewicz, 73, passed away on February 18, 2022, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare. Born on July 27, 1948, in Utica, Joe is the son of Stanley and Micheline (Skiba) Waskiewicz. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and was a US Army veteran. On June 11, 1994, he married the former Carol Ann Lape in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, North Utica, a union of 27 years. Joe was employed with Syracuse Motor Parts in Utica until his retirement. Surviving besides his beloved wife, Carol Ann are his stepson, Ronald VanEtten, Whitesboro; step-grandson, Tyler VanEtten and his fiancée, Abby Howland, Rome; siblings and their spouses, Angela and George Blum, Stanley and Carol Waskiewicz, Ohio, Thomas and Donna Waskiewicz, Colorado, as well as, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, February 24th at 12:30 p.m. at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica with Sister Maureen Denn, CSJ officiating.
