Jane N. Carville Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jane N. Carville, 93, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born on October 18, 1928, in Utica, she was the daughter of John and Aniela (Zamora) Walerski. Jane was a graduate of UFA. She continued her education in the field of nursing and became an LPN. She was employed with Faxton Sunset St. Luke’s Nursing Home prior to retiring. On August 26, 1950, Jane married Edmond M. Carville in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. They enjoyed a blessed union of 62 years prior to his death on October 22, 2012. Surviving is her daughter, Anne Marie Carville Gentile, son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Anne Carville; cherished grandchildren, Jacqueline (Mark) Ruff, Colin Carville, Ian Carville, Joseph Gentile IV, Allison Gentile, and Caitlin (Andrew) Rahme; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Barbara Walerski; brothers-in-law, Leo (Doris) Carville, Frederick (Marlene) Carville, and Gerald Carville; sisters-in-law, Madeline (John) Huss, Carol Byrne, and Diane Carville. Also many nieces and nephews. Jane was predeceased by her sister, Veronica (Nicholas) Fukes, brother, Eugene Walerski; brothers-in-law, Thomas Carville, Hugh (Geraldine) Carville, James Carville, James Byrne, and Sandy Meisner; sisters-in-law, Joanie Carville, Aneita (Ronald) Babicz, Jane Carville, Barbara Carville, and Joan Carville; niece, Sherrie Carville and nephews, Matthew Walerski, John Huss, Jr., Timothy and Tristen Carville, and Ronald Babicz, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Utica. Visitation will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Cemetery, Whitesboro. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Jane’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Envelopes will be available at the Mass.
