Denise M. Wereszynski

Denise M. Wereszynski, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Abraham House, Rome. Born on August 18, 1929, in Utica, Denise was the daughter of Andrew and Antoinette (Bajgerowicz) Roesch. She was a graduate of UFA. On August 30, 1947, Denise married Edward F. Wereszynski in Holy Trinity Church. They shared a loving union of 62 years prior to his passing on November 14, 2009. She was employed as a Group Leader at General Electric for over 32 years. Denise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Denise leaves behind her daughter, Denise Aldi, Whitesboro; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William and Donna Wereszynski, Holland Patent, and Robert Wereszynski at home; cherished grandchildren, Alicia Ann Aldi, Michael William (Carolyn) Wereszynski, David Edward (Amy) Aldi, and Daniel Wereszynski; great-grandchildren, Francesca Sofia Aldi, Henry and Vincent Wereszynski, Luca, Dominique and Xavier Aldi and her beloved canine companion, Fossie. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, David Aldi. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. A memorial service will be held at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Campus, at a later date. Interment, reuniting her with her beloved husband, will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery following visitation. In appreciation for the care and compassion shown Denise, remembrances in her name may be made to The Abraham House at www.theabrahamhouse.org.
