Alexander J. Radziewicz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Alexander Radziewicz Utica Alexander J. Radziewicz, 75, of Utica resident died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 unexpectedly at. St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born in Archibald, PA on October 21, 1932 the son of Alexander and Sophie Zylka Radziewicz and came to the area along with his family as a child. He attended Holy Trinity Grammar School and graduated from U.F.A. He served with the U.S. Army. Alex was united in marriage to Geraldine Wojtanowski on August 17, 1963 in Long Island; a loving union of 44 years. He was employed with the Kelsey Hayes Co. for over 50 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, the New York Mills Seniors, the American Legion Post 1376 of New Hartford and also served with the St. Michaels Lancers of Holy Trinity Church. His survivors included his beloved wife Geraldine Radziewicz of Utica; two daughters, Francine and her husband Kevin Martin of Liverpool and April Radziewicz of Liverpool; two sons and their wives, Paul and Jill Radziewicz of Syracuse and Mark and Christianne Radziewicz of Cazenovia; four cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Mitchell Martin and Cody and Alexa Radziewicz; three brothers, Charles and his wife Darlene Radziewicz of North Utica, Peter Radziewicz of Utica and Leonard and his wife Frances Radziewicz of Frankfort and a sister Mary Ann and her husband Charles Hartmann of Central Square. Also included are several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call today from 4 until 7pm at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home 1156 Lincoln Avenue, Utica. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:15am at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home and at 11am at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev.
