Leslie F. Diamond, 45, of New Hartford, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side.
Leslie was born on May 22, 1965 in Utica, the daughter of Stanley and Louise Lange Badger. She was a graduate of Proctor High School.
Surviving Leslie are her beloved parents, Stanley and Louise Badger; her cherished three sons, Pauly and Jake Diamond and Corey Sweezey; sister, Tammy Badger and brothers ,Stanley and Scott Badger. Leslie had a very special relationship with her two sisters-in-law, Sue Ann Badger of Utica and Jackie Badger of New Hartford and also with her Goddaughter, Heather Badger. She will be missed by her loving companion, Bill Sweezey, and her many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Leslie leaves her former husband, Paul whose friendship she appreciated.
Leslie's family would like to thank the Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare staff and nurses for all the care and compassion shown to her during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, please consider remembrances to Leslie's family.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Nunn & McGrath Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Joseph St. Patrick Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
Paul- So sorry to hear about your Mom.. My prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Try and be strong and remember she is now in a better place and no more pain...

I took care of Leslie while she was in the hospital and it was a pleasure to have met her and her family even though it was for a short time I am blessed to have known her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family in this time of loss. God Bless!!!
